19-20 September 2023 | Wellington, New Zealand
WoodWork's objective is to grow the capability and use of wood in commercial and multi-residential buildings throughout our cities. This event brings together architects, project managers, designers, fit-out specialists, quantity surveyors, BIM specialists and engineers.

WoodWorks 2023 North

For the first time in 8 years, WoodWorks 2023 will be holding two events - a regional March event in Christchurch and the national event later in September. Last year, WoodWorks brought together over 300 leaders in engineered wood design and construction.

Our South Island event was sold out. We look forward to showcasing more amazing developments from Wellington, New Zealand and around the world.

WoodWorks 2023 North covers mass timber technology developments, including LVL and CLT, prefabrication and connection systems are set to transform commercial buildings. Early advantages have included accuracy, early contractor engagement and speed of construction. Now wood’s advantages in creating biophilic environments and long-term carbon-friendly sustainability are set to be recognised.

We will continue to showcase the practical experiences of a range of building professionals and focuses on completed New Zealand and Australian projects. Each year we also showcase an inspirational wood expert from leading tall timber exemplar building projects overseas.
