Mid-Rise Wood Construction is pleased to welcome Enlai Hooi, Global Head of Innovation at Schmidt Hammer Lassen, to share inspiring insights into the project and to discuss the opportunities for urban and building design. Recently Schmidt Hammer Lassen won an international competition to build a new residential building in the Swiss city of Winterthur which, when completed, will be the “world’s tallest residential building with a load-bearing structure in wood”.
Join Mid-Rise, Semi Permanent and our special guests for an intimate evening that will delve into the design process of the Rocket&Tigerli project, its structural approach and the wood solution. We’ll also explore the carbon-environmental challenges and opportunities in the design industry and where this trend is headed in Europe.
Join us in Auckland on Tuesday 18 October at the Residence Room at Park Hyatt or in Wellington Wednesday 19 October at Prefab.
This is a free event but space is limited so reserve your spot today.
