The Tools Required to Advocate for Mass Timber – (Perspectives from a small Christchurch design studio)
Bernie O’Fagan, Owner – RM Designs
How do you introduce your clients to mass timber? Using key lessons, not all of them successful, from projects over several years this presentation intends to provide discussion on how planting seeds leads to incremental but steady change. It’s actually happening! We highlight the Hornby Club Project from an operational rather than an aesthetic view, how the properties of mass timber selected itself, provided the client more than they expected and who and what helped that process.
